Knowledge Conflicts
When two stored facts contradict each other, the contradiction becomes a card here. Nothing resolves itself — each card shows the values with their sources, and the answer is yours to give.
At a glance
- One card per contradiction, its values side by side
- Every value carries its sources, down to the row or the chunk
- Three equal answers — use a value, keep both, or set aside
- Settled conflicts stay listed with the value that answered them

The conflict card
Each card is one contradiction. Its title names the field and what it belongs to, and a two-column grid holds a tile per value — the value itself and links to every source that stated it, each located as finely as a row or a chunk, with a count when the sources run long. A warning line above the cards says when some rows could not be read.
Answering
There is no default answer and no primary button — every answer is one identical click. Use this value settles on one tile, Keep both leaves the values standing together, and Set aside parks the conflict without pretending it is answered; a settled card keeps its values and sources and loses only the verbs. The list holds every conflict, open and settled alike, and each settled card says what answered it.
- Read both sidesEach card names the field and what it belongs to, then lays the competing values out in a grid, each with links to the sources that stated it.
- Answer with one clickPress Use this value under the right tile, or Keep both, or Set aside — the last two each carry a caption saying what they mean.
- Check what settledSettled cards stay in the list with a badge and the value that answered them, sources intact — only the buttons are gone.
Good to know — Answering a conflict needs manage rights over the collection.
