Workspace Search

Search puts one query across everything in the workspace — conversations, callers, tickets, knowledge and agents — and returns only what you are allowed to see. One box, five kinds of answer.

At a glance

  • One query across conversations, callers, tickets, knowledge and agents
  • A tab per type, each badge carrying its count
  • Permissions applied inside the query itself, never after it
  • j, k and Enter drive the list from the keyboard

The results panel

Results arrive under tabs — All first, then Conversations, Callers, Tickets, Knowledge and Agents — each with a count badge, and All's number is the sum of the rest. Every row leads with an accent dot, then its title and subtitle, and ends in an outline View chip; on the All tab a type label names which kind of record the row is.

Scope and permissions

The search runs on the server under your own permissions — the filtering happens inside the query, never after it — so a result you can see is always a record you may open. A member with nothing readable gets an empty result, never an error.

  1. 1Type the queryWith nothing typed, the screen shows only its prompt — type something to search this workspace — and the Cmd-K hint; type, and the Results panel appears.
  2. 2Pick a tabAll shows every kind together with a type label per row; Conversations, Callers, Tickets, Knowledge and Agents each narrow to one kind, and All's count is the sum of theirs.
  3. 3Open a resultMove along the rows with j and k and press Enter, or click the View chip that ends every row.
