Data & Retention

How long the workspace keeps each kind of record is chosen here, window by window. The same screen carries the recording controls, the workspace data export and the purge — nothing saves on change, and nothing destructive goes unconfirmed.

At a glance

  • Three retention windows, each its own select
  • Keep indefinitely as a real choice
  • Recording and announcement switches with a message box
  • A workspace export and a slug-typed purge
Data & Retention

Retention windows

Three windows draw as selects, and Keep indefinitely is a real choice, not an absence. Each tray carries one Save and never saves on change. When the platform manages retention, the selects and the Save draw disabled, with a badge naming why.

Recording, export and purge

The recording tray pairs the recording switch with the announcement switch and its message box; the announcement is spoken verbatim, never translated, and its controls disable when the platform is not recording this workspace's calls. Beside them sit the workspace export and the purge — the purge confirmation types the workspace's own slug, and the server re-checks it.

  1. Set the windowsPick each of the three windows from its select — Keep indefinitely included — then press the tray's one Save; nothing applies on change.
  2. Control recordingThe recording switch turns call recording on or off; the announcement switch and its message box decide what callers hear — spoken verbatim, never translated.
  3. Export or purgeThe export hands over the workspace's data. The purge asks you to type the workspace's own slug — and the server re-checks what you typed.
